Now that they are in season I am looking to cook someup myself but have never tried before. Did a search for recipes and they all appear to be steamed/boiled/blanched. I had an amazing crispy hake served with sauteed fiddleheads in a white wine/garlic sauce at a local place. Does anyone know if fiddleheads can just be sauteed or do the need to be boiled/blanched first? I read somehwere that raw fiddleheads can cause upset stomaches so don't want to nauseate my guests!! TIA
