Help with feta cheese in pizza

I bought over a pound of feta cheese last Thursday to take on a 3-day trip with some friends where we rent a big house with a view and cook up a feast each night. Unfortunately, I forgot to pack the feta when I packed the food for the trip, and I haven't had time to think about it until today.

I'd like to make a feta cheese pizza but this is my first time cooking with feta. There are zillions of recipes on the net, I'm looking for people's favorite toppings to go with feta, and more importantly, tips on using feta in pizza.

Do I crumble the feta with a fork then sprinkle onto the pizza? Do I cover every surface like mozzarella or make little clumps? Do I bake until golden or until melted?

By the way I have 2 blocks of french-style feta. It was soaking in a very deep pan at the Middle Eastern market I bought it from. They wrapped it in plastic wrap and said it's okay wrapped like that for several days; if I want to keep it longer, I should soak it. Since I completely forgot about it until today, it's still in its plastic wrap so I hope it's okay.
