Festival of Traditional Regional Cooks in Oaxaca

cristina | Apr 10, 201705:53 PM     3

The first Festival of Traditional Regional Cooks in Oaxaca will take place April 24 and 25 in the Plaza de la Danza, Oaxaca City. All 8 regions of Oaxaca will be represented, by more than 50 traditional cooks. The festival will be open to the public at no charge from noon until 9PM both days. Everyone is invited--I'll be there and would be happy to show you around and introduce you to the home cooks as well as talk with you about the fantastic food that will be for sale to the public both days. Food will be available from 1PM until 9PM.

In addition, the festival will offer documentaries, conferences about food and food related topics, traditional dancing, and traditional music. All conferences will be offered in Spanish.
