ferraro cucina in LB nice lunch

bernardo | Jul 7, 200402:16 AM

Recommended below in response to our query re lunch near CSULB, we had not tried the original Ferraro's since it moved to Los Coyotes Center corner of LCD & Wardlow until today. We realy like this place, very friendly & accomodating staff, al fresco dining, ample portions, especially tasty shellfish pastas & very modest prices (most dishes $7 to $10 including soup or salad). We were perceptive enough to ask for light on the sauce but forgot to also ask al dente on the pasta, which we will do next time. In Italy they go light on sauces & prepare pastas al dente, in many places stateside you have to ask to get pasta that way.
Highly recommended for casual country Italian lunching.
