Fermented tofu — white blemishes appearing

Ali23 | Sep 18, 201812:27 PM

Hi all,
I have two jars of fermented tofu — one open, one closed — both of them have started to develop white blemishes in the liquid and on the tofu cubes. If this was just in the open one, I would think it was mould...but it is in both and the white blemishes are uniformly white.
Any idea what these might be?
