I've put together a plan for our week in Paris in February. My wife and I are staying in the Marais about a block away from Saturne. I'd love to get feedback on whether our current plan is "doable" based on logistics, timing, palate fatigue, etc.
At this point no Paris reservations have been made...
Sat: Arrive in Paris from Nice
Lunch - Something simple in the vicinity of the apartment since we're trying to eat at CLJ for dinner.
Dinner - CLJ. We'd enjoy sharing this meal with fellow chowhounders (see my other thread: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/828808)
Sun: Go to church in the morning and visit Bastille Market afterwards
Lunch - Grab poulet roti and other things to eat at Bastille Market
Afternoon Snack - Get tea and pastries at Jacques Genin
Dinner - Breizh Cafe
Mon: Visit Montmartre in afternoon
Lunch: Le Cinq
Afternoon: Visit Montmartre cemetary and Sacre Coeur. Maybe pics of Moulin Rouge before heading back to Marais.
Dinner: L'as du Falafel
Tues: Visit Versaille in morning
Breakfast: Any suggestions for a boulangerie or patisserie that opens early before we head to Versaille? We want to arrive right when Versaille opens
Lunch: Suggestion for lunch near Versaille? Something light.
Dinner: Chez Denise
Lunch: Le Regalade Saint Honore
Dinner: Bread and cheese
Thursday: Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe
Lunch: Chez Hamadi
Afternoon: Notre Dame and maybe Pantheon
Dinner: Pierre Gagnaire
After dinner: See Arc de Triomphe
Friday: Relax and revisit favorites
Lunch: Breizh Cafe (wife loooooves crepes)
Afternoon: Jacques Genin (wife loooooves sweets)
Dinner: Farewell dinner - Open for suggestions. Was contemplating a repeat visit to CLJ...
Btw - we'll be stopping by various boulangeries, patisseries and fromageries in the mornings or as we're walking around town.
