We're a 70 year old couple, first time travelers to Italy, enjoy a drink, good walkers so here is our 411.

All restos mentioned in this post are choices for dinner and NOT lunch and our travel dates are March 14 ~ March 26.
Hotel: Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni, Via Dei Tornabuoni 1, 50123, Florence
Wednesday: Exhausted, just need something convenient to the hotel without much fanfare
Thursday: Del Fagioli
Friday: Trattoria La Casalinga or Il Santo Bevitore or Alla Vecchia Bettola – HELP!!
Other contenders: Trattoria Sostanza (diverse opinions), Trattoria Sabatino, Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco, Trattoria L’Parione, Trattoria Cammillo, Buca Dell’Orafo, Trattoria Marione, Al Tranvai
Hotel: SINA Brufani Hotel, Piazza Italia 12, 06121, Perugia
Saturday: Locanda del Bartoccio
Sunday: Unsure but may go to Dal Mi' Cocco
Monday: Osteria A Priori
Wednesday: Casual, probably go to an enoteca like Pizzeria Mediterranea
Hotel: Grand Hotel Palace, Via Vittorio Veneto 70, 00187, Rome
Wednesday: Hostaria Romana, I found this one myself and was mainly chosen because it is within walking distance of the hotel
Thursday: Armando Al Pantheon
Friday: Flavio al Velavevodetto
Saturday: Trattoria Perilli or some place in Trastevere
Other contenders: Ditta Trinchetti, La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali, Colline Emiliane, Trattoria Cadorna, Checchino dal 1887, L'Asino d'Oro
I’m really struggling with the Rome choices as EVERYTHING requires a taxi ride. I would really welcome some suggestions that were within a 10-15 minute walk of the hotel.
