We Feed the World Documentary by Erwin Wagenhofer

Watched some, its interesting.

I. The Good

I find the film informative and helps me as a chowhound make better food decisions. For example, if I decide to buy fish for me or my family, I don't want an industrial trawler doing the fishing. The fish are low quality due to the duration the trawler is out and the pressure. Instead, buy from small fishing boats for top quality fish.

II. The Bad

The film has the gory details that dissuades me from listening to the author. Unless, you like staring at lots of dead fish I wouldn't recommend this film. I see almost nothing positive about the film. Wagenhofer's documentary makes you feel bad in the helpless way.

Good luck trying to stop large scale corporate agribusiness. I've seen how occupy wallstreet did squat. Sames goes for protesters of puppy mills, Adult world, etc. People just walk right past the protesters and conduct their business anyways.
