I have just returned from Northern Vermont where I had some great eating, thanks to chowhound suggestions. Thought I would list my favorites for others to enjoy.
First was Leunigs, a French Bistro, in Burlington at the Church Street Market Place. We had a wonderful lunch and would go back again in a heart beat. Next was lunch at The Shed in Stowe...this was very nice, had the biggest, and freshest Cobb salad I've ever had and an excellent microbrew. We ate our evening meal one night at the Mist Grill in Waterbury. This also was excellent, and I vow to return when they are serving breakfast. ( This time of year, they did not.)
Lastly, on the way home, O.K. we went out of our way, to have breakfast at the Miss Lyndonville Diner..in, of course, Lyndonville. The stuffed french toast with pecans and banana's was to die for and they had wonderful bacon. I recommend all of the above....enjoy!
