Hi, I'm usually on the Midwest board, but I will be in NC and SC on business in two weeks. I was there earlier, staying in Jacksonville and touring the southern OBX - a good time, and plenty of good seafood at places like the Sanitary Fish Market and Restaurant in Moorehead City.
This time I'll be in Fayetteville for two nights, and I'm wondering about good eats, specifically good Q. Is there anything else outstanding I should see?
I'm delivering some training at military installations, and sometimes they seem to have good ethnic restaurants near them because some service members marry overseas and bring home spouses.
Oh, and this time I'm packing my own hot sauce. For some reason, it seems every restaurant table in NC has Texas Pete and no other hot sauce. I'll carry some red habanero mash I made.
