Any ideas on ways to eat bushberries to maintain their essence?
I've eaten my first batch of boysenberries with H-D Vanilla Bean ice cream which tends to overpower the berries. I'm thinking about switching to heavy cream or half and half. Plain/vanilla yogurt adds too much tartness. I even considered cottage cheese this morning.
I'm starting to think that the best way to serve is with an unsweetened cereal and skim milk or just out of hand.
btw is there any perceptible difference between H-D vanilla and vanilla bean flavors?*
