Summer is here, sort of and was looking forward to going on picnics again.
My go to is herb de Provence roast chicken (or pork loin) with a cannelloni bean and herb salad with some crisp green beans, tossed in a sherry vinaigrette. Blondies are a go to dessert, and if I’m feeling particularly ambitious, I’ll packa cheeseboard. (One bleu, one hard, one soft, nuts, jam)
White burgundy, white Rhône or Provençal rose to drink throughout just about always.

None of this is particularly exciting though and I’d like some different ideas.
What are some of your favorite things to bring on a picnic? Desserts and drinks especially!
