Have you ever just created your own local FOOD/PUB CRAWL just for the fun of it? What's you favorite???

ONE KENDALL SQUARE (Cambridge MA) has really become a foodie destination, thanks to all the great bars and restaurants clustered around the lovely remodeled outdoor square. On a recent sunny fall afternoon, here's 5 places we hit up for drinks and a bite (and there were plenty more to choose from too):

Stop #1: CAMBRIDGE BREWING CO.
~What's a better start to a relaxing afternoon than a seasonal pumpkin ale and some of the juiciest Buffalo chicken fingers you will ever have, sitting outdoors at Boston's oldest brewpub?

Stop #2: THE SMOKE SHOP
~Right next door, how about the ribs that won Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational and a flight from what must be Boston's longest list of American Whiskey's? It's still early, so get don't be a piggy and take some of those ribs home with you for dinner.

Stop #3: MAMALEH'S
~Across the square, Boston finally has a seriously good modern Jewish delicatessen that you won't be embarrassed to take your NYC friends to. After those ribs, pace yourself with a half ounce of Bowfin caviar on a griddle challah and egg salad sandwich (DOTD). Oh, and they have old-school vanilla egg creams, which you should definitely ask to be spike with some aged rum. (Also, the first time I've ever had Slivovitz plum brandy, which comes in a cute little sipping flagon.)

Stop #4: STATE PARK
~Downstairs, State Park is definitely the hippest place in OKS, combining outdoor seating with a dim interior and pin ball machines. Time for our first cocktail, the delicious Mustang Island (mezcal, strawberry, rhubarb). And a half-dozen Wellfleet oysters.

Stop #5: PAGU
~I was dying to try the poutine at French-Canadian Cafe du Pays around the corner, but unfortunately it isn't open on Mondays. So we cheated and headed over to nearby Central Square for Japanese-Spanish tapas at newly opened PAGU. Forget about the famous oyster sliders at that ***other*** place, and try the much better squid ink oyster bao here, paired with a flight of saki.

I'm stuffed; time to go home and have some of those leftover ribs...
