The love of my life's graduating recital is coming up, and I'm "catering" the reception/afterparty. His only request was that I make homemade sushi. So, I'm planning on an eclectic array of Asian finger foods. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want as much as possible done in advance because the kitchen's got to be clean by the time the 60+ guests arrive, and I want to enjoy the recital.
The menu so far:
Vietnamese salad rolls
Big Platter 'o Sushi
(tentative) some homemade chinese dumplings, perhaps ha gau. Does anyone have a favorite recipe for those?
