Your Favorite $5 or under bites in San Francisco

mhoff | Jan 28, 201502:31 PM     72

Trying to think of really tasty savory bites in SF proper that cost less than $5 before tax. It was an easy task in Oakland, but coming up a bit short in San Francisco. Prefer something that works as a hearty snack; not deviled eggs or popcorn. Would love to find a stellar $5 sandwich, but I fear that'll be tricky. Already on the list: baked pork bun at Wing Lee, pupusas at Dona Tere's Market...probably some tacos and a pizza slice or two.
