I obtained a good sized (grocery store produce bag) bag of sorrell leaves at the local farmer's market, used a handful in a small version of the Ottolenghi fried beans w/sorrell and feta recipe (a keeper) and am now trying to figure out what to do with the rest. Bittman's nut and sorrell sauce? A soup? Sauce for salmon? We eat little meat, I prefer veg and whole grains but do like oily fish. What do people enjoy most from sorrell?
BTW this is a tangy but not overwhelming batch, leaves not too large.
