Ran into a nice young man while servicing my seed rack the other day a the farm supply store, and he asked about growing pickling cukes to sell pickles at the farmer's market. We got to talking about what he could grow and pickle besides cukes(market regs require farmer-grown product, he can't buy veggies to pickle if he wants to sell at the market)

but then drew a blank.
Anyone pickle any other veggies? He'll have a few acres to farm in sunny coastal california. He wants to experiment this year and then do some market research this fall.
