Fav food place?

So, a simple question.....what's your favorite place to eat in the city closest to your home? I'm interested in seeing how tastes vary. I'm not a foodie, just a born and raised NC girl. Living in Asheboro, my favorite local eats come from a new place called "The Table & Hops Bar-B-Q. For a quick nearby meal, (don't faint) I like our local Huddle House.
