For this Chinese New Year we did not go Cantonese as we normally do. We try a place recommended on this site. Fatima Chinese Mulsum type food. Which means that there should be no pork is used in any of the dishes.
We started a chicken in wine sauce. A good offering not the best but good. The wine was mild and the chicken was silken.
Then we had the beef tendon's which was very good and in it presentation because they make it in a mold and it was in uniform slices.
We had the lamb with sour cabbage soup. I have alway like this soup, the favor was good but I would have like a little more lamb.
Then our entree were Family style tofu. This may have been the best of all the dishes. The tofu was deep fried before the stir fry. Very smooth and not overcooked and broken up.
We also had the sesame bake bread. This was the most moist I have had. The bread had a lot of green onion and was will oiled and the favor was really good. I have to compare it with Ma's on Lundy in San Jose and Darda in Milpitas, this was the best of the three.
Mongolian Beef which was okay but not that great. This is the only dish I would not reorder.
