Fat Tuesday - Harvard Gardens

Tord | Mar 2, 200004:34 PM

Mardi Gras is on in Boston. Harvard Gardens at 316 Cambridge St in Cambridge (523-2727) is combining Mardi Gras with their First Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday March 7th. They open at 5 PM and the celebration will start at 7 to 8 PM. Prizes for the best costumes.

The menu will include fried oyster po boys, seafood gumbo, fried catfish and bourbon pecan pie. Sounds like a Chowhound's dream.

PS -- I once drove from Boston to New Orleans for Mardi Gras -- and did a cycle of three Cat Shows on the way with my best cat ever -- Purrhaps. He loved Mardi Gras --especially the cat fish part.:-)
