My husband and I went on a getaway to the Russian River Valley over the weekend and had a great meal at the Farmhouse Inn. While the meal itself was great(menu changes daily), the best part was the cheese course. The manager, Andreas, is very passionate about cheese and had six different selections and wines to match. Three were from Andante in Santa Rosa, two were French, and one was Swiss. There was only one that we had ever had, Bleu de Vergne(?), and we eat alot of cheese. The course is served tableside from a cart and Andreas went into great detail about each once he realized how interested we were. If you find yourself up there, definately make a reservation.
