Farmer's Markets/Local produce?

Question

Some farmer's markets are opening, with various protocols - lots of distance, timed entry, etc. I went over to Davis Square at my time of 12:30 today, but the line was long and it didn't look like there was much there yet, in the way of produce (not surprising for early June!). Does anyone else have experience with farmer's markets in the Boston-Cambridge area, what's looked good, how has the shopping experience been? If not there, where are you getting any local produce these days?

Not in Boston-but I have been anle to order on-line and have it delivered or pick-up-it has been great.

With the help of a dedicated committee and many new volunteers, the Waltham Farmer's Market has opened. They have a one-way shopping path, and adhere to strict distancing both between shoppers as well as vendors. While they don't yet have any musical entertainment (which was the norm in previous years), it is still a congenial, great experience. Open Saturdays from 9:30 am - 2 pm just off School Street in the area around the Town Hall Annex. This weekend we bought carnival swiss chard, a terrific looking peanut sauce, fresh delicate asparagus and more. Also available were (probably not inclusive): single-batch chocolate vendor, bread bakers, pot-pies (savory and sweet), homemade Italian breads, artisanal loaf breads, smoked fish, fresh fish, meats, cheeses, wines, Greek pre-packaged homemade goodies, and so much more. We urge you to come and support these vendors.

I went to Charles Square last Sunday, and it was pretty mellow. Maybe because early in the season? Tape but no traffic direction for a group of the vendors. (Or maybe I missed the traffic direction) Kimball Farm had what looked like a long line but actually moved quite quickly, and I confess, was better than the usual scrum at that stand! Missed the opening of Harvard this Tuesday, but hope to get there next week.
