I just wanted to get the word out that the former Eagleview Farmers Market has reopened in Chester Springs, on 401.
I was there last week in the pouring rain, and while I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked, what I saw and purchased was excellent. There is a hydroponic grower who already has tomatoes, fresh herbs galore, and two bakers.
From the Daily Local News:
"The former Eagleview Farmers’ Market has found a new location and a new name in the Mill at Anselma. The new Anselma Farmers and Artisans Market is located at the grist mill on Route 401 in Chester Springs, just minutes from the previous market’s location at the Eagleview Town Center. It will be open Wednesdays from 2 to 7 p.m. starting June 4. The market will feature about 15 to 18 different vendors selling a variety of organic produce, baked goods, pasture-raised beef and chicken, organic cheeses, coffee, dinners-to-go, and artisan items."
