Recently got an unusual Fedex delivery as a gift - Six ice creams from Jeni's, an ice-cream maker in Columbus, Ohio.
Two standouts (apart from my favorite Vanilla) were Salty Caramel (oh heavens!) and my girlfriend's fav, Dark Cocoa Gelato.
One fun addition. The ice creams were rock-hard and needed to be 'de-frosted' in the freezer. The reason is because they were packed in dry ice. For those of you with adventurous kids, dry ice is a miracle of fun, bubbling around in a bucket of water, creating Harry Potter-esque special fx. My 11 yo god-son had a great time, but be careful handling the dry ice, it is very dangerous and can cause bad burns. Adults supervision a must.
