I went to Newcomb years ago and my husband and I have visited NOLA several times for anniversarys and b-days, most recently, last January. This will be a first with our 16 yr old and 14 yr old, turning 15 our final day! I wanted to give them a fabulous overview of all that's great, past and present, but don't want to overwhelm them with too many fancy places: husband not fond of coat and tie, 1 kid doesn't "love" seafood. I also want to have a few b-day celebrations for our son while there! We're arriving in the city Fri. 3/19/04 about 7:00pm and leave on Mon. 3/22/04 at 5:00pm. Here are our only 2 definate plans thus far: 9:00am tour of Tulane on Sat.(2 hrs) and Sunday Jazz brunch at 10:30am Sun. Listed are the places I think I'd like to fit in for lunch or dinner, but would love help in deciding. No car, just trolly and would use taxi if needed.
Sat. lunch after Tulane tour
Sun. brunch @ Commander's 10:30am
Mon. lunch or late breakfast
