Family of 6 report - Sultan

Native SF in Midwest | Mar 23, 2006 09:42 AM

Unfortunately two members of the family became victims of a severe cold yesterday and we had to cancel our reservations. The survivors and I walked down to the Wharf and enjoyed some freshly steamed crab from Nick's. Price per pound was $8.95 so we got out for about $40.

There is something to be said for fresh from the sea, live crab cooked right in front of you and eaten without sauces and butter and the like. It was delicious. The kids really know their way digging out the crabmeat from the samllest of crevices and became a bit of curiosity to all those who limited themselves to crab and shrimp cocktails or sandwiches. A few took their pictures all lined up at the counter.

If everyone is on the mend today, we are headed to Bodega Bistro.
