i had assumed i would find some opinions of this place on here but no dice.
when i went a couple of weeks ago during thai new year, it was pretty good. perhaps someone else could provide more insight but from what i've heard/seen, it is run by a couple of youngish ladies from thailand who were very nice. i had to give it my thai litmus test so i ordered the pad thai JUST KIDDING, got the som tum and pad kee mao. the som tum was delightfully spicy and freshhh right out of the gate. much spicier than pongsri bayard st or thai angel or thai cafe in greenpoint (i havent been to everyone's favorite slappyphrappyphai yet). the kee mao was eerily light and refreshing, very tasty but not spicy. oh and it was BYOB but i think there was a corking-fee (i drank beer). we had a bit of a wait (as a group of 6) since the place is pretty small. it was full of east village girls in the 22-28 range which makes sense given that it could be classified as 'cutesey'
any other reports?
