Well, the L.A. County Fair opens today. Despite growing up in L.A., I was in my 30s before I first visited the Fair two years ago with my S.O. It has quickly become something we look forward to each year, largely because we both look forward to Fair Food.
What is Fair Food? Well, if you can put it on a stick and deep fry it, it's Fair Food.
And funnel cakes are Fair Food.
Although one of the fun things about the Fair is wandering around in amazement at all of the food options, it can also be a bit overwhelming. Unless you go back a few times, it would be impossible to even try all of the different kinds of foods (let alone each individual vendor).
So, does anyone have any favorites? In particular, I'd like to try some BBQ this year.
