We tried this Cuban diner on calle ocho after hearing a good report on Chowhound.
The food is good if a bit bland even in the normal scheme of Cuban food.
What I especially liked was the tortilla espanol - a gorgeous rendition - and a dish everyone should try at least once. It was quite a monster that looked like it was made with at least sixteen eggs.
Also of special note were the fresh plaintain chips (light and crispy) and a cafe cubano that was the best cup of coffee I've had in years - all four adults agreed on that.
