I'm looking for a nice place with excellent food to catch up with some friends this weekend. Was looking through my restaurant review clippings and found a review Ruth Richl wrote of the place in 98. Any review that opens with "Other chefs may go chasing after arcane Asian ingredients, but Remi Lauvand is content with foie gras, truffles and chanterelles" immediately catches my attention, but the date of the review causes some concern. I was wondering if anyone has been there recently and how their experience was. Thanks for all your help.
