HELP: ? for experienced bakers

I have a question for those of you who are experienced bakers. I have a recipe for pumpkin pound cake that calls for adding pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices to a pound cake mix. It turns out very well, but I'd really like to do it with a from scratch pound cake recipe. What I need to know is what adjustments I might need to make to the ingredients when adding 1 c. of pumpkin puree to the mix. Thank you! Kim
