I just bought one of those Weber Poultry roasters for my gas grill. It's kind of like those beer can chicken roasters, but it seems to be sturdier, better constructed than most I've seen.
I've been having a hankering for a grilled whole chicken. I've done them on the grill before by just laying them down and they come out fine but they need a bit too much tending to that way, due to fat flare ups. This way, I assume all the fat and juices will collect at the bottom of the pan (in theory, not spill into the grill, I hope!).
Has anyone used this device specifically? Looking to get some feedback on tips and tricks before it arrives It's being shipped and I expect it any day now.
