Last night I felt like having a fast food burger. My friend as a joke picked up some 1/4 pounders from McDonalds and as a surprise, from Jack in the Box, a Bistro Burger. This is a 1/2 pound Patty, with lots of stuff on the bun. I removed everything but the cheese from the burger. When we tried eating, [4 of us sharing the Bistro]. We were surprised that the meat was excessively salted. No one was able to take more then a bite or so. We compared with the 1/4 pounders meat from McDonalds. They weren't salty. Is this practice common with fast food hamburgers?
