excellent rugalach & cinnamon bun update - Boro Park

A while back there were posts about other Houndy places to go to in Boro Park when going to The Bagel Spot. I mentioned a bakery but didn't know the details.

I recently revisited and was again so pleased with the products.

I went around 9am during the week, and they had the most diverse product line I've seen (been there about 4 times). Cinnamon, chocolate, chocolate walnut, swiss mocha, vanilla, apple walnut rugalach (these were particularly gooey and delicious). All either $2.99 or $3.99 per lb.

And about the same varietys in small buns. The dough was nice and flaky, and you could peel the layers away.

Also nice-looking cookies. Not typical bakery type with sprinkles, rainbow cookies, lace, or leaves. These were more dainty. Heart shortbreads covered in chocolate or sprinkled with nuts, truffles, nut cakes.

It's called Tiferes Heimishe Bakery. 4016 13th Ave 718-972-6026

Looks like they're also in Williamsburg 137 Lee Ave (718) 388-6026

Would love to hear if anyone goes and enjoys as much as I do every time I'm there.
