Per Se, Daniel, Jean Georges, L'Atelier, Bouley, etc. - these are so overpriced, in my opinion (having eater at some of these places)--even worse are their small portions - yes, I know you can keep on ordering more dishes, if you're hungry. But what if you like just a larger entree? We like Taverna Kyclades (Astoria), Turkish Kitchen, and places like these. We have found them to be consistently excellent over the years, with great portion sizes. Are there any other restaurants like these in Manhattan or Queens? What do you think?
