As a detour from the Christmas markets, we dropped in at the Pergamon Museum to tour the world class archeology exhibits on Christmas day. Upon exiting, we wanted to grab a quick bite. Across from the museum was Pergamonkeller, which was almost filled (it was 3 pm). I had the Wurzfleich in Blatterteigpastete (sorry for the missing umlauts!) and my wife had the 2 kleine Scheiben Schweinefilet. Both were excellent. Seemed to be a hit, since I saw many of the puffed pastries as we walked in. Enjoyable new discovery. Would go again, if we were in the neighborhood.
