EVOO - short

meathead | Jun 15, 2005 09:30 PM

My first trip to EVOO for a special dinner with my wife. The trip from MetroWest was smooth - parking easy!!!??? The food was so creative and delicious. The foie gras appetizer was delicious, the spring rolls were so creative, the beet salad was a work of art. Duck, Duck, Goose was excellent and the lamb marinated in coffee was divine. Desserts were top notch - raspberry panne cotta was a light finish to a big meal. The wine list had excellent range from affordable to top notch. Service attentive and atmosphere was lovely. My biggest suprise - the cost. I think EVOO is one of the best dining values in the area and it offers a diverse menu with top notch ingredients. I think I would have been happy with anything on the menu.

Next time I'll get there earlier and try the 7 course tasting menu.
