I need some party planning expertise. I am hosting a cocktail hour/meet and greet with my University President and Board of Trustees in March. I need some help finding a suitable space. The President and Board will be at conferences at National Harbor during the week of the event. One Trustee is wheelchair bound so the place must be accessible. We host our events at metro accessible locations so the President and Trustees have agreed to leave National Harbor. We need a place that can accomodate about 100 people (standing and a few tables), able to accomodate microphone and podium, has finger foods and drinks available, and is easily accessible for our President coming from National Harbor. My thought was to do a hotel ballroom/conf room near Braddock Road Metro or King Street metro. However, I know nothing of what those places could offer. please help!
