European torte wafer sheets - how to use these things?

Nyleve | Jan 30, 201402:18 PM     5

So I found these wafer sheets - rectangular, about 8 in a package - in a Russian/Eastern European supermarket and, of course, I bought them. I know they are used to make some kind of layered torte and I also know there is a previous thread on Chowhound (to which I actually contributed) about this very thing. Does anyone have a recipe for using them? I'd like to make something chocolate with them as a birthday-ish cake. I'm sure I've eaten something like this years ago but I can't quite recall the details.
