a friend asked me to help her put together a cocktail party and her boss is Italian and her bosses boss is "european" (whatever that means)

any one have any suggestions for finger food that we can pass (we will hire a waiter) Preferably not to complicated but we are willing to try anything

I figure something with smoked salmon, like a smoked salmon napoleon, something with filet mignon (maybe with horseradish dressing on a crostini)

any other suggestions or alternatives would be great.
