Went to Priya Indian Restaurant on a trip to Eugene on the recommendation of this Chowhound board. Did their lunch buffet twice. It was the best Indian food we've ever eaten, and we've had a lot of practice here in Seattle. Even my pickier kid finally became an Indian food convert. The cooks use tons of fresh garlic and nuts in their sauces. The masala sauce was sublime. The lamb curry had huge chunks of meaty lamb. The saag even tasted better there, and I thought it was a pretty standard dish up until then. The vegetarian pickings are slim as I've found at most Indian restaurants. It's out of the way from downtown Eugene, near the Fred Meyer, but worth the drive. The location is kind of unfortunate. But again, the food was phenomenal. I hoped to go for dinner to try all the dosas on the menu, but will have to save that for another trip.
