"Soup dumplings" are dumplings in soup... (see photo).
"Xiaolongbao" are a whole different animal; XLB are steamed individually and not in any soup (though, if well made, there is juice inside)... (see other photo).
The terms are NOT interchangeable.
Which one are you looking for on the Westside?
