I'm a reporter at the New York Times, doing a story on the more obscure examples of ethnic restaurants that are serving the cuisine of other ethnic groups, such as pakistanis serving chinese in jackson heights, dominican food at an irish place in washington heights, italian at an afghan restaurant in flushing, russians serving sushi, etc. etc. i know some of this has already been in the press, i.e. the chinese doing Tacos Fresos and other mexican and the albanians doing italian and pizza but any really fun, cross-regional, offbeat examples you know of and can point me too would be greatly appreciated.
