Please aid me in my escape from a corporate hotel in downtown San Jose! Will be there at the end of April. Plan to take rental car and drive like hell to the shore. Looking for hound seafood, fresh farm ingredient cooking and/or mom and pop cafes/bakeries. Have a penchant for Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, French, etc. cooking too. Am also considering going to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Also, while I'm down in SJC any suggestions for non-hotel breakfast by Convention Center that is hound worthy? TIA!
