I finally tried Grano Del Oro 2000 yesterday, mostly on Eric Eto's recommendation and loved it. I've been disappointed by other Mexican restaurants hyped here and elsewhere: Los Dos Rancheros, Matamoros, Castro ... but this place was delicious. I had two tacos, carnitas and pollo. The torillas, meat, and fillings complemented each other beautifully. (Ironically, I realized that I'd been there once before and ordered a torta, which didn't impress me, more evidence that you have to know what to order where).
