I opt for Equal over the others because it's not saccharin, which always carries that scary 'has been shown to cause cancer in animals' statement on those little packets. Sweet and Low I think is saccharin. And other substitutes I've seen have some strange chemical names on them. Basically Equal seems to me to be the least of all evils. I think it's for this reason that it's reportedly the leading sugar substitute on the market. And it seems to sweeten my coffee just fine. I'll bet a lot of people think like this.
