Went to the CNE last night and checked out Epic Burgers & Waffles

I ordered the Doughnut Burger, and the Behemoth Burger... Since I was in the Food Building we also checked out the Deep-fried Cola and Deep-fried Mac 'n Cheese, below are some pics.

Verdicts...
Both burgers share the same patty, spongy (most likely frozen) over processed patty. The grilled cheese in the Behemoth was dry and tasted more like toast with cheese. The krispy kreme doughnuts tasted just as expected, soft and super sweet. But everything from this booth all had a similar quality, nothing tasted fresh, the burgers and grilled cheese all stacked under hot lamps, nothing was made to order and you could taste it.

Deep Fried Cola: Do not waste your time or money for this. It basically a cola flavoured funnel cake in a cup, but the staff manning the fryer didn't seem very experience and bunt our order... while this did but a downer on the overall experience I don't think it would have changed my opinion much. The larger pieces of 'cake' were less well-done and most likely cooked to the correct desired level, and you could taste the cola flavour, but I would much rather get my fix for fried dough with classic standards of tiny toms, beaver tails or just a plain ol' funnel cake.

Deep fried mac 'n cheese... not worth it either, actually ended up throwing most of this out. It was try and no real cheese flavour came across, just the breading and spices. This needed a lot of ketchup on top to counter the dryness of the dish, and still made it barely edible at that.
