Finally made it to this east o' the tunnel favorite
First a couple of misses :
The warm couscous was bland and dry and had some little uncooked gems in it
The hummus had fridge burn on it and was bland lacking garlic and lemon that I am used to. Could be a regional thing except for the FB.
The service was slow, and the place was not all that full. We really liked our waiter though, and all the staff seemed to know the food and wine.
The shepherds salad and the turkish fries are A++, the wines are well selected and served in good quality stemware. The kebab I had tasted really great, but the texture was a little gummy. I liked the layered beef and tomato pie dish, but it could have used some salt and much more filling.
Side note :
This place has the best looking female wait staff on the planet!!! If only they were more interested in serving up more of the little pitas you need to enjoy the food.
Turkish Tapas! Pretty cool. We will refine what we order and definitely go back. I think we will stick to the wet salads and the kebabs.
