We met some New York friends at the Deyoung and were looking for a nearby restaurant for dinner. Decided on Eos. Four of us shared four appetizers, four "main courses" (all small plates) and two deserts. Everything was very good and some things were outstanding. I especially liked the chanterelle dumplings, the hangar steak, the potato pancakes and the duck. We were looking for a big Zinfandel and the waiter recommended Teira, which was new to me. Really enjoyed it. Total cost for four (with wine and tax but without tip) $160. Service was very good at first but suffered a little as the restaurant got busier. However, our waiter was friendly and helpful and his recommendations were great. In short, we really enjoyed the dinner and thought the price was pretty reasonable.
