I am throwing a dinner party in a couple of weeks. It's a summer theme, so far I have decided I want to do a grilled calamri salad with fennel, corn and tomato "salsa". I am also toying with the idea of doing amuse bouche of cold avocado and corn soup.
I am undecided about the entree. I don't want any seafood since I'm already doing calamari as a starter. Chicken is too everyday. I'm kind leaning toward roasting a whole beef tenderloin, but have never done one before. And what to serve with it that's summery?
Dessert might be a meyer lemon brulee tart or white chocolate Grand Marnier mousse.
